Tremor - Overview
a)Rest Tremor- when affected body part relaxed, disappears with voluntary activity i.e. Parkinson's
b)Postural/Action Tremor- evident with arms held against gravity or with goal-directed activity i.e. Essential Tremor, Physiologic Tremor
c)Intention Tremor- increases in severity as the hand moves closer to its target, in contrast to postural and action tremors, which either remain constant throughout the range of motion or abruptly increase at terminal fixation i.e.
Cerebellar lesions
-Ataxia, dysmetria, proximal distribution of the tremor, or gait disorder usually suggests a cerebellar disorder
-Our patient had an action tremor
