Renal Cell Carcinoma

Renal Cell Carcinoma metastasizes to:

• Brain
• Bone
• Liver
• Lung
• Lymph nodes

The pancreas is not a common site to have metastasize in general, but has been found in series of RCC patients. His time course is typically, as mean time to metastasize to the pancreas is about 5 years.

Sunitinib: Inhibits multiple receptor TK, including VEGFR. Side effects include:

• Hepatotoxicity
• Pancreatitis
• Hypertension
• Reduced LVEF
• Proteinuria
• QTc prolongation
